DIGI Officially Becomes the First Digital Media Company Listed on IDX

Using the stock symbol "DIGI", starting from Tuesday morning, September 18, 2018, PT Arkadia Digital Media Tbk has been officially listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). It's something special, because it is the first digital media company ever been listed on the IDX.

All the Board of Directors of the company along with business partners and several staff attended the listing ceremony at the IDX Building Main Hall. The ceremony itself was also a special occasion, because the Presidential Chief of Staff, Moeldoko, also attended and shared his words with the audience.


Following the ceremony, the DIGI share price itself has moved up from Rp 200 to Rp 340 (up 70%). This means that the DIGI initial listing has been positively welcomed.

No less than 150 million of shares were offered to the public by PT Arkadia Digital Media Tbk in this initial listing. And it was reported that during the initial public offering (IPO) periode several days back, demand for the shares has been oversubscribed more than 100 times.

The President Director of PT Arkadia Digital Media Tbk, Wiliam Martaputra, said they're really optimistic that the company's value will increase significantly in the near future. The company's up-to-date credible contents, its independency, the use of various platforms with wide distribution network, as well as other creative business models, are among the reasons of this optimism.

"Limitless creativity with so many development plans currently in our company are the elements that make us optimistic. In terms of business, the future of this digital media is very promising," Mr Martaputra said.

As explained previously, the company plans to use the money from IPO for capital expenditure (capex) and its expansion plan. The plan includes upgrading infrastructure and hardwares, developing platforms and other softwares, as well as for working capital accross all their business units.

The company has three subsidiary companies namely PT Arkadia Media Nusantara (AMN), PT Mata Media Nusantara (MMN), and PT Integra Archipelago Media (IAM), managing several online media and portals such as Suara.com, Matamata.com, Bolatimes.com, Hitekno.com, Dewiku.com, Mobimoto.com, Guideku.com, and Himedik.com. PT Arkadia Digital Media Tbk also manages a content provider business unit, multimedia production house, event planning unit, and several more.
