Suara.com as the leading news portal of PT Arkadia Digital Media Tbk has just been regarded as an "Inspiring Media" in the awarding of Piala Merak 2019. The term "Merak" itself stands for "Media Ramah Anak" or Child Friendly Media. This award is a program of the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemen PPPA).

In the awarding ceremony that was held on Monday, December 9, 2019, Suara.com was chosen as one of the media that often published reports related to children's issues through its publication.

"I hope the award presented will be a motivation for enthusiasm to work in protecting Indonesian children which are approximately 80 million or around 30.5 percent of the entire population of Indonesia," said the Minister of PPPA, Bintang Puspayoga, in her remarks at Wisma Antara, Jakarta.

The award was personally given by Minister Bintang to Ririn Indriani, Assistant Managing Editor of lifestyle and health desks who represented Suara.com that evening. Besides Suara.com, two other media that received the same award at this year's event were Kompas and Antara News Agency.
